Pad Lock® contains an ingredient that bonds chemically to metal increasing adhesion with even the finest mesh brackets.
FLUORESCING PASTE: Pad Lock® paste will fluoresce when illuminated with a black light to reveal a flash upon bracket placement. In addition, the cured paste under the bracket base will fluoresce at the time of debonding making it easier to see and remove the adhesive.
NO MIXING-UNLIMITED WORKING TIME: Pad Lock® is a photo-initiated adhesive that offers the operator unlimited working time to position brackets and clean flash.
TOTAL PASTE POLYMERIZATION UNDER ALL BRACKET BASES: Pad Lock® is comprised of a unique catalyst and filler that reflects the light to ensure complete polymerization under any metal, ceramic, sapphire, or plastic appliance.
BONDS ALL METAL, CERAMIC & PLASTIC BRACKETS: Pad Lock® will bond any type of bracket base to enamel, porcelain, composite or metal surfaces when properly conditioned.
IMMEDIATE ARCHWIRE PLACEMENT: Once the material has been properly cured, an active archwire can be placed immediately.
EASE OF REMOVAL: Pad Lock® is a small particle, glass-filled material designed specifically for orthodontic use that allows maximum penetration of filler into the finest screen mesh base. As a result, when the appliance is debonded, the majority of paste will be removed with the bracket. The remaining adhesive can be easily removed without scarring the enamel.
